Facilities

The core facility provides technical support for investigators in instrument maintenance, operation training, scheduling, workshops, user certification, trouble shooting and experimental consulting. The facility has about 24 different kinds of instrument in three fields: molecular biology, enzymology and cell biology. The major instruments include: Bioanalyzer, Cell Disrupter, Confocal Microscope, Cryostat Platform, Flow Cytometry, Fluorescence/Luminescent CCD Image Analyzer, Fluorescence Spectrophotometer, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Microplate Reader, Protein Purification System, Radioisotope Counter, Real-Time PCR, Upright and Inverted Microscope and Ultracentrifuge etc. In addition, the core facility also houses a Biomolecular Interaction Analyzer (BIAcore T200) provided by the Technology Commons of the NTU College of Life Science.
